stars Camilla Dallerup and James Martin have split. The contestants fell for each other after they were paired up for the BBC dance show in September, with friends claiming that the spark between them was "electric".However, Camilla has now reunited with former partner Brendan Cole because James lost interest in their relationship."Camilla and James are over and she has decided to give Brendan another chance, but they're taking it slowly," a source told the The insider added, "She feels let down.
She'll put on a united front with him in public, but she's fuming."Camilla originally split from Brendan after he cheated on her with newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky during the first series of the show.In an extract from her autobiography ‘Strictly Inspirational’, published in The Mirror, she explains: “To this day I have no idea whether it was her fame and celebrity that swept him away or if he really did feel a strong connection with her.Since Camilla and Brendan, plenty of other couples have split while appearing on the show, including the 2014 series winner Caroline Flack, who parted ways from her music manager boyfriend Jack Street just before the final. After dating her partner Matt Di Angelo, ‘Strictly’ pro Flavia Cacace started a relationship with her new partner Jimi Mistry, and the couple are now happily married. The 'Countdown' presenter announced her split from her husband just weeks after her stint on the show. She returned to the TV show as assistant choreographer in 2013 and was a judge alongside Craig Revel Horwood on the nationwide Strictly Live tour in January.
Camilla adds: “I was invited to return again as a choreographer on the current series but I just couldn’t fit it all in around work.” The work she is referring to is her hugely successful second career as a life coach and motivational speaker in Los Angeles, where she now lives with her husband, actor Kevin Sacre.
The pair met on the set of the BBC reality TV series The Underdog Show in 2008 and married in Ibiza in 2010.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Rachel and her partner Pasha Kovalev are dating, however, she remains insistent that 'Strictly' had nothing to do with her marriage split.
After finishing her evening panto performance as the fairy godmother in Cinderella in Worthing, she’ll dash home to watch the closing stages of this year’s final.
“People are always surprised that I love the show just as much watching it as a punter,” reveals Camilla, 41, who started her professional dancing career as a child in her native Denmark.“I’ve been inviting my panto colleagues to my house at weekends to watch it.” She is tipping either The Wanted star Jay Mc Guinness or Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote to lift the famous glitter ball.
It’s seven years since she left the show after winning the coveted trophy with Holby City actor Tom Chambers but she remains part of the “Strictly family”.
